Doctor Angok Gordon Kuol, charged with overseeing the fight against the Corona virus, was allegedly fired.

South Sudan Health Minister Elizabeth Acuei Yol replaced Dr. Angok Gordon Kuol, the country’s coronavirus incident manager, on Wednesday and appointed Dr. Richard Lino Lako as the new incident manager. There were no reasons given for this shuffle.

But the incident manager replacement trended on social media with different opinions and reactions. Some letters were also revealed alongside the story to substantiate the allegations that something wasn’t right with the replacement. Details of what exactly is going on is yet to be confirmed.
