Current President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in a recent Facebook post discredits Bobi Wine, calling him a puppet for the West.

Bobi Wine who is a sitting parliamentarian in Uganda is seeking to contest in next year’s presidential elections, to unseat Museveni who has ruled Uganda for some time now.

Bobi Wine,  a musician now a politician is founded the People Power Movement in 2018 and recently being sued Over NUP Party registration.

Bobi Wine gained love and support from lots of Ugandan’s when several attacks were launched on him from 2018. He has been very active in criticizing the ruling party of doing very less for the Uganda people and has since been attacked on several occasions. Bobi Wine became the darling boy for the media, including some big media houses across Europe and America.

For decades, the opposition has tried to unseat Museveni and failed. There are many reasons for this, including repression and electoral manipulation. But there is also another reason. Nine out of ten times, the opposition focus their energy in the urban centers, where they enjoy enviable support.

We will witness very interesting times next year in Uganda’s politics.  Do they want a change or they want the old man, Museveni?

Well let’s wait to see what the future holds!
