283 more people test positive for COVID-19 in Kenya

Kenya has Thursday reported 283 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 103,615.
The Ministry of Health also said that 66 patients have today recovered from the disease, 51 from the Home-Based Isolation and Care while 15 are from various health facilities. Total recoveries are now at 85,457.
Six patients have unfortunately succumbed to COVID-19 pushing Kenya’s cumulative fatalities to 1,807.

The first batch will benefit high-risk population groups including Health Care Workers, police, teachers, the elderly, and the terminally ill.
