Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony despatched and established an ADHOC Committee on Thursday, March 30th 2023, to reinforce the prompt return of the Mundari livestock herders in Lainya County, chaired by the State Adviser for Legal Matters.

The Committee confirmed that the herders are adhering to the executive Order as they have embarked on a steady return to Terekeka County and call for continued cooperation from the populace.
Furthermore, they commended Governor Adil and the local authorities, particularly the tasked SSPDF, for their unequivocal commitment to the swift return of the Mundari cattle herders in the various cattle camps.
It is worth mentioning that the Committee is planning another mission to scout out the remaining livestock camps in various sections of the state.
Governor Emmanuel, on the other hand, praised the committee’s remarkable efforts and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the quick return of herders to their regions of origin to foster peaceful coexistence between the largely agricultural and cattle-keeping populations.
