After advocating for disarmament in Jonglei, the Pibor information minister was sacked.

Jay Adingora Alual, the communications minister of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), has said that he was sacked last week for declaring that civilian disarmament is required in Jonglei state.
“I was interviewed on SSBC after a meeting with the head of my line ministry, Michael Makuei, in which I talked about child abductions, livestock raids, and the necessity for disarmament in Greater Jonglei,” he stated in an interview with Radio Tamazuj.
“Those are self-evident facts. “
There’s nothing special about it, but I suppose he (Lokali) was upset that his clan was listed as abductors,” he continued.
The senior government official, who is ethnically Anyuak, said that his dismissal from the post might be driven by inter-communal tensions in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area and that he was threatened by the GPAA top administrator because of his views.
Jay, who is from the Anyuak community, said his dismissal was also motivated by inter-communal animosity in GPAA.
“When I returned to the workplace the next day, the top administrator summoned me and warned me that discussing the security issue was not my job,” he said.
“However, I attempted to explain to him that it was part of my job as a government spokeswoman.” But he was deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafening
The GPAA’s top administrator acknowledged the firing and said that the minister was removed because he was not delivering in his ministry.
“Yes, I sacked the last information minister for administrative reasons.” In addition, the former minister is overstaying in Juba.
I have no objections to the Anyuaks’ desire for a separate government. “They should go to the president, and it is up to the president if he wants to divide the GPAA into ten states,” he stated.
