As expected, newly selected R-NTLA Speaker relieved of her position as Minister of parliamentary Affairs

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Jemma Nunu Kumba has been relieved of her duties.

This comes on the heels of her selection as speaker of the reconstituted transitional parliament on Friday.

Nunu has been succeeded as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs by Mary Nawai Martin.

Kiir also removed Angelo Taban Biajo of his post as Deputy Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal state in a separate presidential order published yesterday evening.

Zachariah Joseph Garang has taken his position.

Kiir also annulled the nomination of Simon Maguek Gai Majak, an SPLM-IO Member of the Council of States, in another order.

Vienna Kakulye was also removed of her duties as Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology by the President.
