Diamond Platnumz’s YouTube page back after ‘hacking’

The YouTube account of one of Africa’s top music singers has resurfaced after being supposedly taken over by hackers, which resulted in its suspension.
Diamond Platnumz’s page, which has over 6.5 million members and over a billion visits, was allegedly hacked on Sunday.
Wasafi, Diamond Platnumz’s record label, stated they got an email from YouTube informing them that the account had been suspended.

According to Majidi Ramadhani, it was halted because the hacker’s released information that breached the digital platform’s norms.
He told Kenya’s Daily Nation that they had sustained a considerable loss and were attempting to rectify the situation.
On Monday, the Tanzanian music singer posted on his Instagram page that the page has been restored.
“Thank you, my Beloved….my YouTube channel has returned,” he wrote.
