EAC Hosts 23rd Ordinary Summit of Heads of State; Media Accreditation Initiated

The East African Community (EAC) Secretariat has announced the upcoming 23rd Ordinary Summit of the EAC Heads of State, scheduled to take place on 24th November 2023 in Arusha, Tanzania.
Preceding the Summit, a High-Level Forum on Climate Change and Food Security will be held on 23rd November, with the participation of the Heads of State.
To facilitate media coverage of the event, the EAC Secretariat has initiated an accreditation process for both local and foreign journalists wishing to attend.
Local journalists in Tanzania are requested to send the names of three individuals seeking accreditation to mutabazi@eachq.org, with a copy to ikiarie@eachq.org.
Foreign journalists are required to submit their names and passport details to fmutabazi@eachq.org, also with a copy to ikiarie@eachq.org.
The accreditation process will begin on Saturday, the 18th of November 2023, and will conclude on the 23rd of November 2023.
