Ernesto Paulino Apinyi, a W. Bahr el Ghazal MP is dead.

Ernesto Paulino Apinyi, a recently appointed member of the Western Bahr el Ghazal State Legislative Assembly, died on Friday at the Wau Teaching Hospital from his injuries sustained in a deadly accident on Thursday evening.
The late Honorable Paulino and others were on their way home after a funeral when their Landcruiser overturned on the Aweil-Wau Road. Two individuals were killed on the scene, while the others were sent to Wau Teaching Hospital.
“Honorable Bol Paulino Apinyi, he is our sister’s son.” He died in the hospital yesterday at 8 a.m., and I was there at the time; I saw him when he died,” Peter Buolla, who was also hospitalized, stated.
Honorable Mawut Athian, another accident victim, said that the late had complained of acute chest trouble after the accident.
“When the catastrophe occurred, we flipped and escaped.” “I was the first to get up, and I lifted him up and questioned him about his health as he was pointing to his chest,” Athian said.
Athian has requested an inquiry into the collision, which he claims occurred when the Landcruiser and another vehicle attempted to overtake one other.
