Angelo Atak Akol passed away this morning in Aweil main hospital after he complained of chest pain.

NBGs government declared three days off duty to mourn the death of Ustaz Angelo Atak Akol.

The Press Secretary, Mr. Deng Kiir Deng announced that the mourning days become effective from today until Monday next week.

Late Atak is a historian and a politician. Late Atak recently participated in Public fundraising event conducted in Aweil town towards Northern Bahr el Ghazal university.

Former minister of Physical infrastructure in defunct Aweil state, Deng Amoi Anei said the state has lost a library. ”Ustaz Atakdit was a library where reference check about Aweil was made.” The former minister broached.
