“Government Should Either Provide Security To Its Citizens or Handover Power”,-Lt Gen Makuach
The prevalence of tribalism and a lack of justice and equality in the nation has been pointed out and revealed by Lt. Gen. Duer Tut Duer Makuach, Chairman and Supreme Chief of the SPLM/A-IO (the Reformists) of the Republic of South Sudan.
General Makuach seems to have issued a threat or warning to the South Sudanese government since the administration appears to be deviating from what it is intended to accomplish.
“We would want to remind the Government of South Sudan that one of the most essential tasks and roles of the Government is to safeguard its people from all sorts of damage, whether done by individuals, groups of persons, or groups inside the Government,” the general said.
The official went on to say that tribes are battling tribes, that unknown gunmen are shooting defenseless individuals, and that criminals are killing Justice and Law Enforcement Officers or Agents, among other sorts of violence.
The General urged the government to perform its job, as well as the leaders of various communities to guide their children. He also warned the government to do its best or give up.
“The South Sudanese government should either offer security to its inhabitants or give over authority to a force capable of delivering security to the people of South Sudan,” he added.
Because General Makuach represents so many voices, the government should do the right thing and restore peace to the nation.
