Instead of convening a presidential conference to address the escalation, Kiir entertained international delegations, including Chinese and American businessmen.

In a short social media message released on Facebook, Wani stated President Kiir is “the most unserious Head of State and Government”.
The Chinese and others are still invited to J1, but not his Vice Presidents or the Parties to the Agreement.
“One may assume that President Kiir and his crew are to blame for the present crisis,” he continued.
