An outspoken critic of the South Sudanese government branded President Salva Kiir Mayardit as “the most unserious” leader for entertaining a Chinese delegation at the presidency.
Due to SSPDF assaults on SPLM-IO bases, the SPLM-IO withdrew from peace implementation mechanisms and those monitoring the accord last week.
An assault on SPLA-IO strongholds in Upper Nile and Unity states raised worries of further escalation between the two important ceasefire signatories.
Instead of convening a presidential conference to address the escalation, Kiir entertained international delegations, including Chinese and American businessmen.

In a short social media message released on Facebook, Wani stated President Kiir is “the most unserious Head of State and Government”.
The Chinese and others are still invited to J1, but not his Vice Presidents or the Parties to the Agreement.
“One may assume that President Kiir and his crew are to blame for the present crisis,” he continued.
