NCA office to open on 25th after 5 days shut down as a result of COVID-19.

NCA is to open its office back on the 25th of February, 2021 after closing the office for 5 working days.
According to the memo released by the office on the 18th of February, the National Communication Authority (NCA) closed office.
Following a voluntary COVID-19 test of the NCA and their contractor’s staff conducted recently, and subsequent report of positive cases as a result of the tests, NCA management in line with COVID-19 protocols
The NCA is expected to resume back to work as the five days close of office elapses on the 25th.
COVID-19 is raging in South Sudan as about 26 health workers tested positive for COVID-19 last week. The national ministry of health recorded 348 new infections on Sunday alone, bringing the total number of cases recorded since the start of the outbreak to 6,931.
The new cases include 46 children under the age of 18. Addressing a weekly press briefing on Sunday, the Director-General for Preventive Health Services Dr. John Romunu cautioned the public to continue to practice the prevention measures – including handwashing, social distancing, and wearing of face masks.
