Rumbek Police Urges Calm and Cooperation in Investigation of Fatal Stabbing

The police spokesperson for Rumbek, Lt. Colonel Moses Machuoc Bol, has urged the family of a young girl who was fatally stabbed in their compound to remain calm and cooperate with authorities during the investigation.
In an exclusive interview with a journalist last Friday afternoon, Bol expressed the need for the family to provide any information that could aid in identifying the perpetrator.
The victim, identified as 14-year-old Moch Mouthic Maggot Kok, was sleeping outside her room when an unidentified man stabbed her in the stomach at around 5 am.
Preliminary reports suggest that the attacker destroyed her vital organs. It remains unclear why the victim was outside at such an early hour.
Moch was quickly taken to Rumbek State Hospital, but unfortunately, she did not survive. As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection to the case.
However, the police are actively investigating to identify and apprehend the perpetrator responsible for this heinous crime.
