Ruweng Administrative Area Launches First Radio Station to Empower Local Community

In a significant milestone for Ruweng Administrative Area (RAA), the government, led by Chief Administrator H.E. Stephano Wieu de Mialek, officially inaugurated the region’s first radio station, Ruweng FM 87.6, in the capital city of Panrieng.
The spirited event garnered the presence of esteemed guests, including Rt. Hon. Mary Ayen Mijok, the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Council of States, the Acting Minister of Information, Youths and Sports, and enthusiastic citizens of Ruweng.
During the launch ceremony, H.E. Stephano Wieu de Mialek addressed the citizens of Ruweng through the airwaves, expressing heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the establishment of this pivotal radio station.
The Chief Administrator extended his thanks to President H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the Ministry of Petroleum, and GPOC for their commitment in ensuring the successful delivery of this radio station to the people of Ruweng Administrative Area.
