Rwanda beats Burundi in the 2021 Men’s Volleyball Championship, while Ethiopia defeats South Sudan.

South Sudan men’s volleyball team got defeated by Ethiopia in their first game at the 2021 Men’s African Volleyball Championship.

Rwanda thumped Burundi’s side in the African Volleyball championship which kicked off Tuesday.
In a closely watched game at Kigali Arena right before President Paul Kagame, the Rwandan side thumped their Burundian counterparts with a 3-set scorecard, 25:15, 25:19, 25:12.
The ongoing men’s 2021 CAVB Volleyball Nation’s Championships involves sixteen teams formed in three groups A,B,C and D.
Rwanda is in Group A alongside Burkina Faso, Burundi and Uganda.
Group B includes; Tunisia, Ethiopia, Nigeria and South Sudan.
Group C is composed of; DRC, Mali, Cameroon and Niger.
Group D includes; Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania and Kenya.
On this chilly Wednesday, Rwanda is scheduled to take on Burkina Faso and will later tackle Uganda on Thursday.
