The Ministry of Health has postponed the launch of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign indefinitely.
The drive was expected to be launched this morning at the presidential palace J1 in Juba.
A meeting is being held to decide on another date to start the vaccination.
Some neighboring countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda have already started the vaccination. President Yoweri Museveni, Uhuru Kenyatta, and Paul Kagame have all been seen publicly taking the vaccine.
The reason for the postponement is still unclear.
