South Sudan National Health Ministry convenes a 5-day leadership conference to devise strategies to enhance the country’s health system.

The National Ministry of Health held a five-day Leadership and Governance Conference with the goal of improving governance and leadership capabilities.
The conference’s aim was to bring together health stakeholders to discuss and devise strategies to enhance the country’s health system. Vice President for service cluster, in his introductory comments.
Hussein Abdelbagi Ayii said that the leadership course occurred at an ideal moment as the nation was implementing a peace agreement that benefited health services.
He said that the leadership and governance meeting took place during the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement, or R-ARCSS, in South Sudan. The R-ARCSS contributes to the provision of healthcare services in the pursuit of universal health coverage.
