South Sudan women’s national team captain, Amy Lasu joins Liberian football outfit ‘Determine Girls FC’
It was all smiles to most fans of the South Sudan national senior team captain Amy Lasu Ropani as on 19th June 2021, Liberian club Determine Girls club announced that they have reached an agreement with South Sudan Club Juba Super Star over the transfer of attacking midfielder Amy Lasu Ropani on a one-season transfer with an option to extend. According to the club, Amy is expected to arrive in Liberia soon.

Amy was the inaugural South Sudan National Women’s League 2021 top goal scorer with 11 goals and she will be the first South Sudanese and East African to be playing in the Liberian First Division Orange League and is said to have agreed a one year contract with a possibility of extension.
Determine Girls FC is a Liberian-based female club that plays in the upper division of the Liberia National League which was founded in 2005 in Monrovia and is based In central Monrovia. Determine Girls Play their home matches at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS)
Amy will be their 3rd foreign player after they acquired the services of two Guinean national team players that helped them win their first league title this year, to mark the end of the dominance of Earth Angels that have won the league on most occasions.
The Central Monrovia based team won the 2020/2021 season league as an unbeaten team (13 wins, 2 draws) as they clinch the 2020/21 Orange Women’s Division league
