SPLM National Secretariat Responds To The Public Over Social Media Viral Video

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement National Secretariat yesterday (Tuesday) made a Press Conference in courtesy of the Statement made by Cde Peter Lam Both in a video that went viral on Social Media.

The Press conference was attended by Cde Kuol Atem Bol, the SPLM National Secretary for Political Affairs and Mobilization, Cde Bol Makueng Yuol SPLM National Secretary for External Affairs, Cde Dr. John Oryem SPLM National Deputy Secretary for Training and Research and members of press from various Media Houses.

Firstly, the clarification made at the press conference is, Cde Peter Lam Both did not travel to Kuajok with Cde Salva Kiir  but he made his statement during his Welcoming into SPLM National Secretariat by the Entire membership of the SPLM in January 2023 adding that “many people are now propagating that SG made a statement in Warap State Capital, Kuajok”.

Secondly, the video Clip taken by the enemies of Peace and SPLM was the little part of the illustration by Cde Peter Lam Both of why many people rebelled in the name of their Tribe to topple down the leadership of the Nation of South Sudan. He as well gave many examples of those who are doing this which include, Dr. Riek Machar, Gen. Paul Malong Awan and Gen. Thomas Chirilo, among others.

The National Secretariat revealed that there was too much interactions between Leaders of the SPLM and the Journalists of which both of them completed the Press in Good Spirit.
