The Foreign Affairs Minister and Investment Minister returned back to Juba after 2 weeks of quarantine in Qatar.

Mayiik Ayii, Foreign Affairs Minister, and Dhieu Mathok, Investment Minister, have returned to the nation after a two-week Coronavirus quarantine in Qatar.
The two ministers tested positive for Covid-19 in Doha earlier this month, causing the whole presidential advance party to be quarantined in Qatar.
They were part of a high-level government group that arrived in Doha on November 7 to meet with Qatar’s government ahead of President Kiir’s first-ever working visit to the Gulf nation.
However, the meeting was later canceled.
Tut Gatluak, the Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs, led the delegation, which included the ministries of foreign affairs, finance, investment, roads and bridges, higher education, and agriculture.
The governor of the central bank, the managing director of the national oil company Nilepet, and the secretary-general of Islamic affairs are among the others.
Deng Dau, the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said this morning that both Mayiik Ayii and Dhieu Mathok had returned to Juba.
“I went to the airport this morning with representatives from the Ministry of Investment to greet our two ministers from Doha,” Deng Dau stated.
“Honorable ministers Mayiik Ayii Deng, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, and Dr. Dhieu Mathok, minister of investment, came this morning through Khartoum.”
“They left Doha yesterday night, connected in Khartoum, and arrived this morning.” They are in excellent health and spirits. They were detained for two weeks and will return to their usual responsibilities as soon as feasible.”
