The headquarters of Juba County have been moved to Luri Payam.

The headquarters of Juba County in Central Equatoria state has been transferred from Juba town to the Luri Payam-Rombur region.
The state governor, Emmanuel Adil, officiated during the formal move on Wednesday.
Adil said in a statement that the move would help the government’s strategic goal of bringing communities closer to the people for better service delivery.
Adil advised the residents to embrace peace and cautioned the area’s traditional authorities against becoming involved in politics.
Isaac Moro Jenesio, the state Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement Agency reaffirmed his commitment to developing local government institutions.
Mawa Moses, the state Minister of Roads and Bridges; Flora Gabriel, the Minister of Land, Housing, and Public Utilities; Michael Lado, the Mayor of Juba City Council; Thiik Thiik, the Deputy Mayor for Physical Infrastructure; and other state government officials attended the occasion.
According to the 2011 transitional constitution, Juba County has thirteen Payams.
Bungu, Dollo, Ganji, Gondokoro, Lirya, Lo’bonok, Lokiliri, Mangalla, Northern Bari, Rokon, and Tijor are among them.
