WhatsApp Brings Emoji Message Reactions to Its App

WhatsApp is finally catching up with services like Twitter, Signal, Facebook Messenger and Slack and will be adding message responses.
Message responses allow you respond to messages using emojis.
You may double-tap a message to bring up the emoji responses, and this functionality is going out to beta testers before being accessible to the public.
You’ll need to run on the newest WhatsApp version when this functionality debuts.
The Facebook-owned platform has been active this year, testing and releasing new capabilities for users on WhatsApp including conversation transfers across iOS and Android, new Android emojis, the ability to share pictures that nuke after a single view, multi-device compatibility, among others.
